State-Of-The -Art 2-Stroke piston kits are manufactured in Japan and are designed to be an O.E.M replacement.  The pistons are supplied in a kit package that includes rings, wrist pins, and cir clips. Should be modified for use on the air-cooled Yamaha RD's

Since HVCcycle had such a high demand for the 1970-1972 Yamaha R5 pistons, and prices for NOS pistons and rings, if found, were through the roof,  we made our own.

  • High quality cast pistons manufactured to OEM tolerance.
  • Kits come with 1 piston, 1 wrist pin, 2 rings, and 2 cir-clips
  • Sizes range from Standard 64.25mm to 4th oversize 65mm
