Vintage
Snowmobiles
Since I am originally from Eveleth MN,
way up north, I also love snowmobiles. My father has many vintage
snowmobiles and has restored quite a few.
Here are a couple of pictures from
the 2006 Peter Mitchell Days in Babbit MN (even farther north).
They have an annual vintage snowmobile show put on by the
VSCA, Vintage Snowmobile Club Of
America. At the end of the show, the owners drive there sleds
around the park and up and down a rather large grassy hill.
The pictures are of two sleds my
father restored. He took three sleds to the show and took home
three trophies.
Not pictured is the
vintage wreck, He took first place (out of two). He beat the other
entry out because there was more moss growing out of the seat. Oh
to enter, the sleds must run.
