Yamaha Chain & Sprockets

The essence of a high quality sprocket is in the high precision of manufacturing and the inherent quality of the material. Through accurate machining and by using only the best grade of C45 High Carbon steel for rear sprockets and SCM415 Chromoly steel alloy for front sprockets, JT ensures Maximum Durability performance for both Drive chain and sprockets.

 JT manufactures sprockets the right way, by hobbing, machining and drilling. This is the only proven way to achieve the closest of tolerances and the best teeth profiles. Heat treated and hand finished to perfection, all JT sprockets meet or exceed the highest possible quality standards set for the motorcycle industry. Each sprocket goes through up to 25 production stages and 10 individual quality controls checks before it is ready to leave the factory.

Standard Aluminum Alloy Rear Sprockets
Using superior quality aerospace 7075-T6 aluminum machined to exact tolerances exceeding American Gear standards, Sprocket Specialists sprockets are of the highest quality. From 22 through 74, every tooth size is available. All sprockets have lightening holes when possible, at no extra charge. Special Orders are welcome If we do not show it in stock we can special order it for you.

  • Manufactured from 7075 T6-51 Aluminum

  • Stronger than steel sprockets in tensile, yield and shear strength (see chart)

  • Far lighter than steel for less un-sprung weight

  • made from full thickness aluminum for maximum strength

 
 

Due to availability of vintage sprockets, we can only provide what is available at the time. For Steel sprockets we will ship JT sprockets if avalible. If JT sprockets are not available we will substitute with a Sunstar or PBI sprocket of equal or better quality.
